I seem to feel very uninspired when I sit down with pencil and paper to work on this so I tried some sketching on the computer. Some feedback maybe? I've been bugging Tania all day with it. :3

Some more concept

Hey Gang, here is the concept for My other character, the muscle
of the group, Alepeko Minaloa full of power from Hawaii.
it has taken a lot of time because of finals, it seems like
a lot on my end since Im in school for limited time
with the wacom screens. I did a few variations to see what
Could work and what I could improve upon. Personally Im leaning
towards the two middle ones even though my first concept
was the farthest to the left. The one in the far right seems more
like Flash, and it was hard for me to decide the colors for that last one.
I started with green but he looked like the orange county garbage man
and the big G does not help getting that concept out of your mind.
comment please.

Info for the President

http://www.megaconvention.com/view/info/alley/

so, not just for the president, but for everyone involved in this little shin-dig called the Sequa Club.

Everyone sorta needs to chime in on how many days do we want to set up for, or how many people are going to actually go and sit behind the table or are we going to trade off while we're all at the show? And all of that jazz.

Not only that, but make sure we keep updating our pages over the break, so we can get good quality feedback from both Krishna and McKinney, and actually have time to do the changes required before taking it to print. I'm pretty sure I butchered that last sentence, grammatically, but I don't care.

Also, maybe lets start thinking about cover ideas for the book as well as any advertising for behind our booth. Remember to save some money so we can have plenty of money for printing as well as some money for some snacks while at the Mega-Con.

The Job 3/4

Hey guys, I know its like, a week late. I've been completely bogged down between work and preparing for graduation. There's actually one more page missing from this that needs to be laid out - I can take care of it Saturday and hopefully have some of it inked. But I kind of like keeping the ending from you. I'm definitely a bit more excited about it now that its actually happening instead of hanging over my head like a Sword of Damocles.

Just the gestures - for me this is 70% of the work, getting things to look cool in the frame. Sorry if its hard to read, obviously I'll fix that later.

Also, I got scheduled for MAPP testing Friday at noon (I thought it was next week) which means I'll be missing the meeting. I've alerted Zero and he should be able to take over and handle things.

:) Have a good one!

A sketch :3

I was sketching in Aesthetics and I got this I was thinking about what would be some good monsters to add to my comic and asked skye to draw me out one. The one she drew was much more creepy then the one I drew in the picture. but he's gonna be one of the creatures in my comic. >>

But yeah this is the style it's probably going to be in since it's my most basic drawings. I doubt I'll be coloring cause I'm to lazy (and busy) for that and I think I'm better at line art then inking and color. We'll see how it works out.

Any C+C is more then welcome! :D

-Still Untitled-

Finally got the pages scanned in~
Figured I'd get some feedback before I started to ink them...
They're just pretty much rough sketches right now, very few solid backgrounds, and all handwritten text. I put some notes on there in red too~ Okay, well, here are the links:

I promise my comics aren't usually this dark...

-Untitled For Now-

Hey, this is Tania~ I enjoyed the first meeting I attended, and am totally excited for it. So, I actually finished drawing my comic already. I'll have to scan them when I can to get some feed back. Till then, here's some concept drawings~
This was the original drawing I had for the main character. But I've changed the style for this comic...

Here's her revamped:

Not much different, but whatebs.
Anyway, I guess the main issue I'm having is wondering what I can do for color or toning...I only want to do it in color for the blood, but I'm soooo lazy and really don't wanna color the whole thing XD I'd rather do screen tones...either way, I need to know the legal-stuff about using the school's programs or programs obtained not-so-legally...
Okay, well, I'll post some of the pages when I get them scanned. It ended up being six pages, hope that's okay~

The poster for the club

so after a few hours of no sleeping, here it is!

Hitman

I went back and forth over a lot of different ideas and couldn't really find anything I could settle on - either the story was way too long, the characters too bland, or too complicated and detailed, something. This idea came to me last night - a quick story about Tim, an average young guy whose father raked up a really high gambling debt with the mob before he passed away. Now Tim owes The Green Eyed Man a lot of money - or carry out a hit on the new Boss trying to set up shop in Green Eyed Territory. Most of the comic will be him mentally preparing himself and trying to approach Boss Certelli, with a slightly humorous outcome. Tried to keep the characters simple so that I know I'll have the time to do this comic, and I think I'll leave the coloring as is - one important detail on every character.

See you all tomorrow!

SequA poster

^^^^^^Colors are not final^^^^^^

This is the idea, My toon is holding up the bottom half of the logo to the Sequential Arts club (my spelling sucks, thats why i had jared txt me eight times for just the logo spelling lol) On the notes to the sketch you can see bullet to the lines i would put in the bubble (where the "This is a test?!" is) You can see I was playing around with the background as well, thinking I might not put one in but well see. If I have to (and if the others want me to..jared...zero) I will make the logo thing that I got going on the paper as well if you want me to.

On the upper half of this will be Zero's character pulling up the sign on the right side ~~> (that side) in his own comic-ish panel.

does it work? yes? no? help...

Andy's Concepts

I got concepts:

This was my initial character design. His name is Somes, and is a bit of a bookworm who loves to travel, draw nature, and loves books. I really liked it, but I couldn't really think of any stories for him. So I moved on...

...to this guy. I like this character a little more. He's Gartie, the scardy gator. I have a couple of story ideas. I plan on doing strips for him, since he seems to be suited for sweet and short storytelling.
