  2. I love the design of the mech/robot itself, its very believable and solid. I don't have much critique for the design itself, but I will suggest something! It looks as if you were just coloring right over the sketch in photoshop, right? If that is the case, I would say you should separate your lines from your background layer and apply your color beneath the line layer. Now, you may be asking how to do that! (if you didn't already know that is).

Just so happens I made a tutorial on that. You can find it here: http://www.theintermezzo.com/images/pictures/tutlines.jpg

Start at step 8, its very easy, and now you will be able to color your sketches without running over your actual sketch lines. It helps a lot and saves the time it takes to re-line an image digitally.

  3. also, this way you don't have to use Multiply to color, if you are. Using multiply gets messy.

  4. that is something to commercialize, imagine, selling this to the public to get rid of those pesky pets that poop on your garden. This is nice design Mike and coloring comes with practice, trust me, im still trying to get down with it.

BTW, Great Tutorial Steph, hard to navigate but very resourceful. I encourage everyone to check this out!!!

  5. "getting rid of pesky pets"? I think you guys are misunderstanding my design. This mech does nothing more but plant seeds! Why else do you think I added the color green? So it can go, unnoticed, shooting seeds into the ground without being an eye-sore to passer byes. The big old cannon hand is nothing more than a fancy looking localized sprinkler.

Peace and Love not War and Hate
